Unfortunately for Nick the losses reach conspicuous levels which leave him with no choice but get on the run before getting arrested and extradited for eventual conviction
Eventually Barings Bank goes bankrupt because of this mismanagement in one of its key markets which is a wake up for businesspeople who should not take mismanagement for granted irrespective of which branch it applies.
