Corporate Take Overs through LBOs

Based on a true story that saw the rise to prominence for one of wall street top ballers Henry Kravis through popularizing the concept of Leveraged Boy-Out (LBO) where top investors borrow money to purchase an existing firm, work on operational efficiencies and selling it thereby making a killing. The movie showcases how Kravis introduces the concept to F Ross Johnson the CEO of RJR Nabisco who attempts to backstab him and use a different firm to complete the buy-out to which Kravis responds with a Corporate attack that sees his firm KKR win the contest through damaging the reputation of F Ross Johnson in a famous takeover that sees KKR earn an unprecedented fees from the over 25Bn takeover.
