Boiler Room features Giovanni Ribisi as Seth Davis, a son of a judge who channels his tuition money into a business venture to form a casino and one evening is introduced to the world of gambling BIG on wall street through a firm known as JT Marlin where he meets a number of big names such as Vin Diesel, Ben Afflect, and Nicky Katt his supervisor. Ben Afflect conducts a group interview that gets him into the firm plus a couple of follow up inspirational talks; then Vin Diesel inspires him with a ground breaking sales pitch that closes a Doctor in one of the most persuasive sales pitches on screen regarding shares of a pharmaceutical product that doesn’t even exist. The movies ends with the FEDs bursting the scheme but Giovanni struggles to save his reputation with his Father and one of the clients who was on the verge of losing his family due to the scam
